Our team has been busy preparing for your return by making all the necessary adjustments, aligned with government guidelines, to ensure you can once again safely enjoy working out with us.
Staying #GymSafe Together
To make sure your return is as safe as possible we have made a number of changes. We’ve introduced a booking system for all visits, enhanced our cleaning protocols throughout the premises and limited the number of members in the gym at any given time.
There are more changes since your last visit so we’ve created a dedicated page on our website to give you all the details of everything we have put in place to keep you safe.
Reactivating Your Membership
Before your first visit, you will need to reactivate your membership and update your personal and emergency contact details. This is essential to comply with the Government track and trace system.
You will also need to read and agree to our updated T&Cs and Liability Waiver featured on the online form. When you’ve completed this step the gym team will reactivate your membership and you’ll be ready to book your first gym session.
Booking a workout
To safely limit the number of members in the gym at any one time we are requesting all visits are booked in advance.
Sessions can be booked seven days in advance in blocks of 50 minutes each.
Until further notice, members can only book one session per day. You can either book via our website or via the YMCA Gym app.
If you haven’t already downloaded the app get in touch by email and we’ll have you up and running in no time!
New class timetable
For now our in club fitness classes remain suspended. However, our dedicated team of instructors will continue to deliver classes online, streamed live from the gym.
Check out the current timetable and book onto an online class. You can filter your search on the website timetable by clicking the symbol at the top right hand side.
