Wollaton Holiday Club
(School Holidays Childcare)
Our Nottinghamshire YMCA team delivers a childcare service in the school holidays called ‘Wollaton Holiday Club’, which takes place for children aged 4-12 at Middleton Primary School in Wollaton, Nottingham.
Service Update
In line with UK restrictions, our February half-term programme will only be available to children included on the official Critical Worker and Vulnerable Children list provided by the government.
Children can get involved in sports, crafts, STEAM activities (promoting young people in Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Maths) along with swimming over the course of a week. Think science experiments, dodgeball, archery, outdoor adventures, group games and more!
Programmes for children are based on our developmental assets of positive relationships and skill building. We believe that interactive learning and access to inspiring role models during a child’s informative early years helps young people to make healthy choices in later life. Our team of fully-trained Play Leaders have specialist qualifications in environmental learning and risky play as well as sports coaching.
