For someone born on the edge of the Kalahari Desert in Southern Africa, Will has acclimatised well to the cut and thrust of Nottingham!
After heading to the UK armed only with £50 and four O-Levels to his name, Will started his career in hotel management before following a Christian calling and finding himself working at a north London YMCA hostel in the middle of the 1981 Tottenham Riots.
He joined the YMCA in Nottingham as Chief Executive in 1995, taking turnover from £400,000 to £6.1 million today.
