Sports and Play Leader

 

An incredible new job opportunity to join the Nottinghamshire YMCA Childcare Department as a Sports and Play Leader is now open for applications!

An experienced childcare professional, you will deliver the day to day operations of the Breakfast / After-School Club at Middleton Primary and Nursery School, and at school holiday clubs. You will draw on your qualifications, skills, and experience to engage children in safe and enjoyable sports, craft and STEAM activities. Day to day tasks will include maintaining records and registers, supervising off-site and on-site activities and administering first aid. Supervising work experience trainees, volunteers, and temporary staff will also be part of this role.

Promoting positive relationships in a fun and safe environment will be at the forefront of everything that you do. You will contribute to the enjoyment and healthy development of children, following Nottinghamshire YMCA policies and procedures and OFSTED National Standards.

Location: Middleton Primary and Nursery School and Wollaton Holiday Club
Hours: Term-Time Hours – 14.5 hours per week, School Holidays – 50 hours per week (Average of up to 23.48 hours per week)
Salary: £10,723,13 per annum (payable in 12 equal instalments)
