Night Duty Officer (Goole)

 

The Role

We are seeking a Night Duty Officer to maintain the safety of our residents and the security of the premises at our hostel in Goole. You will be the face of the hostel when welcoming residents and guests, controlling access to the premises in a friendly and professional manner, as well as undertaking some administrative and cleaning duties.

Good communication skills are essential, as you will be working with adults and young people with complex needs, providing advice and support for them, as well as keeping records and writing reports of any incidents that occur during your shift.

You will also need to be comfortable with lone working, and performing security checks at the hostel, as well as consistent CCTV monitoring.

We are looking for a caring and responsible person, who is happy to work nights and weekends on a 3 week rotational shift pattern. In a position of trust, we are looking for an honest and reliable person to fulfil these duties.

Location: Goole Supported Accommodation, East Riding of Yorkshire
Hours: Part time – 30 hours per week on a 3-week shift pattern to include evenings and nights through the week and weekends with rest days built in 
Salary: £9.88 per hour
