YMCA gym challenge – week 7 – 5 minute AMRAP Super Circuit.
Burpees, sit-ups and jumping jacks.
In 5 minutes achieve AS MANY REPS AS POSSIBLE of:
10 jumping jacks
1. Start standing.
When you are ready – start the clock.
2. For the burpees make sure your chest and thighs are in contact with the floor at the bottom. Remember to jump at the top. Clap above your head while jumping to complete the rep. Scale this movement by stepping up if moving dynamically between the bottom and top positions becomes too difficult.
3. For the sit-ups start lying flat on the floor. Move up so your body is at a right angle with the floor. This is one rep.
4. For the jumping jacks start standing feet together. Jump and extend your arms and legs for each rep.
5.Keep going as hard as you can for 5 mins. Your score is the total amount of reps you achieve. for example if you complete the entire rep scheme twice all the way through your score would be 60.
6. Record the number of reps you achieve.
You can resubmit your score as often as you like before the 28th November 2014.
