Nottinghamshire YMCA will be running three holiday camps for children across Nottinghamshire this October half-term.
Newark Camp, a holiday camp for children aged 5* – 12 years in launching at Newark Academy during the upcoming October half-term holiday from 29th October – 2nd November 2018. This will run alongside the already known and loved Camp Williams (West Bridgford) and Wollaton Holiday Club (Wollaton).
At Newark Camp, all children get to take part in a variety of exciting group activities over the course of a week, including sports (football, basketball, cricket, hockey), camp games (dodgeball, Ultimate Frisbee, scatterball, Danish longball), swimming, arts and crafts, board games, camp fire circle activities and camp rallies.
Children at Camp Williams will take part in all of the above activities, PLUS 8-15 year olds can take part in ‘Skill Clinics’ – sessions that focus on mastering exciting skills, ranging from archery to climbing, from mountain biking to music making.
At Wollaton Holiday club children get involved with loads of interactive projects, STEAM activities, arts and crafts, a variety of indoor and outdoor sports, and swimming. Think science experiments, dodgeball, archery, outdoor adventures, group games and more.
The club takes place on weekdays from 22nd October to 2nd November, 8:00am – 6:00pm.

Nottinghamshire YMCA camps and childcare clubs provide children and young people with opportunities to form positive values and to learn through positive, engaging, and interactive experiences.
