Housing Officer (Worksop or Mansfield)
We are recruiting a Housing Officer (full time and part time hours available) who is passionate about quality supported housing and wants to make a difference to the lives of the people who live in our Worksop accommodation.
If you have experience of working in a supported housing or supported living environment then you could help us maintain a safe place to stay for vulnerable people in Worksop.
Your success in this role will be measured by your ability to maintain a safe and secure place to live and work as part of the wider YMCA housing team. You’ll contribute to resident’s daily lives by providing a friendly and welcoming reception service, helping with allocations of accommodation and completing routine safety checks and basic maintenance.
We are looking for a professional, flexible and reliable person, who is looking to work Full Time on a rotational basis, which will include day shifts, evenings, nights and weekends. Our ideal candidate will be confident in lone working situations and have a good understanding of conflict resolution management. Meticulous record keeping and an eye for detail will be key as you manage a variety of processes from mail distribution and rent payments, to CCTV monitoring and security patrols. Taking great pride in your empathetic and person-centred approach, you’ll excel in both your communication and problem-solving skills.
