Job Vacancy

Youth Development Tenancy Sustainment Officer

Are you passionate about helping young people to get back on their feet? Could you lead a team to make a real difference to our residents?

The Role
Our residents and staff team need your knowledge and experience. Are you organised and proactive? Do you have what it takes to inspire young people to make positive life choices? We’d love to hear from you.

Our Staged Progression structure helps vulnerable young adults aged 18-25 in Nottingham move onto independent living. Residents move from our hostels into Transitional Homes, gradually working towards independence. We provide our residents with benefit, employment and skills support to help them make sustainable changes to their lifestyles.

As Youth Development Tenancy Sustainment Officer, you will support our residents to sustain their accommodation whilst helping them to transition into settled, independent accommodation. Whilst primarily focused on the provision of tenancy sustainment services for young people you will also support our team in providing generic tenancy sustainment services for adult residents in our hostels and transitional homes.

A good understanding of the needs of young people, their housing rights and support services available is essential. You will also be an excellent communicator, which will enable you to relate and engage with our residents.  You will have a clear understanding of safeguarding and of delivering to a diverse customer base.

If you are ready to use your expertise and skills to help young people in Nottingham, apply today.
