The Role
As Tenancy Sustainment Officer you will ensure that our residents have access to, and understand, loans, grants and claims. You will also help our residents understand their tenancy agreement, make timely payments and provide them with general support. Your advice will be invaluable to their progression.

Our Staged Progression structure helps homeless people in Nottinghamshire move back into independent living. Residents move from our hostel into Transitional Homes, gradually working towards independence. We provide our residents with benefit, employment and skills support to help them make sustainable changes to their lifestyles.

A good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and Outlook is essential. You will also be an effective communicator, which will enable you to relate and engage with our residents.  You will have a clear understanding of safeguarding and of delivering to a diverse customer base.

If you are ready to use your expertise and skills to help people in Nottinghamshire, apply today. This post is subject to a satisfactory enhanced DBS check (for which YMCA will pay) and registration with the DBS Update Service.

How to apply
Please download an application form and return it to recruitment@nottsymca.org. Please note we are unable to accept CV’s unless accompanied by a completed application form.
