Team Leader

Do you enjoy working with children and young people? An exciting job vacancy has arisen as we are recruiting for a Team Leader to join our Children’s Residential Care (YMCA Settled Care) team.

Due to our exciting expansion programme of our Settled Care provisions, we are now recruiting for a number of key roles that will be based across our new children’s homes in Goole.

Working with the Assistant Manager and Registered Manager you will support the operational delivery of the care home. Acting as the first point of contact for Residential Social Care Workers, you will establish positive working relationships with the children and young people whilst supporting the administration and function of the home.

Experience of working with children and young people is essential, as is the ability to be organised and work under pressure. Good communication and organisational skills are essential for this role.  The ideal candidate will already hold a Diploma Level 3 in Children and Young people or equivalent whilst working in a similar field.

Location: Settled Care Homes in Goole
Department: Children’s Residential Settled Care
Responsible to: Registered Manager
Hours: 37.5 hours per week average worked on a shift pattern including days, evenings, nights, weekends and bank holidays plus inclusion in the on-call rota. Some lone working will be required
Salary: £21,000 – £23,000 per annum (dependant on experience and qualifications) Additional payments include £45 per sleepover.
