Residential Social Care Worker (Goole)

The Role
Your role as a Residential Social Care Worker will be to provide care and support to children and young people living in our residential homes.

You will work with the children every day to increase their social skills, education, health and independence, as well as improve that they develop confidence and emotional well-being. You will ensure that they are safeguarded at all times whilst in your care. You will also plan and join in with activities and undertake a range of administrative tasks for which you will be trained in.

Our ideal candidate will have the Diploma 3 Health and Social Care qualification and experience of working in residential social care environments however this is not essential. What you do need is a willingness to contribute to your ongoing personal development.

A full driving licence is desirable, though not essential.

£18,000 – £19,000 dependent on qualifications plus additional sleep in payment of £45.00 per sleep in and excellent staff benefits package such a free gym membership, generous annual leave, low cost childcare at school holiday clubs and supported health schemes to name a few. With a commitment to professional development with access to a wide range of training and Diploma level 3 and 5 qualifications.

Full time roles available 37.5 hours per week, along with part time roles available 23 hours per week, shift pattern to include days, evenings, nights, weekends and bank holidays. Some lone working will be required as will sleep ins. Casual roles also available.
