L3 Senior Play Leader

An incredible new opportunity to join the Nottinghamshire YMCA Childcare Department is open for applications now! As an experienced childcare professional, you will deliver the day to day operations of the Breakfast / After-School Club at Middleton Primary and Nursery School, and at YMCA Day Camps operating at various sites across Nottinghamshire.

The Role
Working closely with our Assistant Operations Manager as part of our Childcare Services team, you will have an excellent rapport with parents and carers, children, colleagues and school staff. You will plan and deliver exceptional play activities, inspiring your team to ensure our programme maintains high standards of play through a fun, safe and positive programme of activities.

Your reliable and caring nature will thrive in this environment and will make a huge difference to the children in your care. We are looking for someone who holds a L3 qualification in early years, play work or childcare provision, with a paediatric first aid qualification.

The post will be based at Middleton Primary School and Camp Williams, West Bridgford but must be willing to support sessions across our various sites in Nottinghamshire/Nottingham city as and when required.

Location: Middleton Primary and Nursery School
Department: Children, Families and Youth
Responsible to: Assistant Operations Manager
Hours:Term-Time: 25 hours per week (7.30am – 9am and 2.30 pm – 5.45pm)
Holidays 50 hours per week annualised over 52 weeks to 31.25 hours per week
Salary: £9.15 per hour
