We are recruiting for a Domestic Assistant to join our dedicated Facilities Team in Nottinghamshire.
Do you want to help create the best possible living environment for vulnerable adults and young people? Could you contribute to the well-being of those working towards independent living? If you are reliable and committed with a good understanding of the needs of people from diverse backgrounds – we would love to hear from you!
Our City Hostel provides shelter and safety for residents who are on the way to independent living. You will be responsible for the overall cleanliness of various Nottinghamshire YMCA sites, as well as the routine checking of resident rooms and recognising health and safety risks.
Our ideal candidate has experience in the cleaning or hospitality industries with a diverse client base. A professional and confident individual, you’ll love to work with people from a variety of backgrounds and cultures. You’ll be confident taking initiative and act with integrity and discretion. Your role will be crucial to providing residents with an environment where they can thrive and be the best that they can be.
You’ll possess excellent knowledge of health and safety and COSHH regulations. You’ll be confident working independently and passionate about working as part of a team to ensure the highest standards are achieved and maintained.
In return, we can offer you training and development opportunities, great workplace benefits and the opportunity to work for an employer who really cares about you.
This post is subject to a satisfactory enhanced DBS check (paid for by YMCA) and registration with the DBS Update Service.
