Children’s Residential – Registered Manager

We are recruiting an experienced Children’s Residential Registered Manager in Nottingham who is committed and passionate about children, and who can maintain our ‘Good’ Ofsted rating.

As Registered Managers, you’ll be a vital part of our team. Your priority will be to safeguard the physical and emotional needs of the children and young people in our care. You will be responsible for ensuring that your home is established and run efficiently and provides a positive environment which allows each child to reach their full potential.

You should be working towards the Diploma Level 5 Leadership and Management (Children and Young People) qualification or have a willingness to complete this within two years of the appointment, a minimum of 2 years’ recent residential childcare experience and 1 year’s management experience is essential. You’ll have detailed knowledge of safeguarding, Ofsted requirements and behaviour management strategies as you will be responsible for leading, managing and motivating your team to deliver the desired outcomes under the Quality Standards. You will be responsible for the homes’ maintenance, quality assurance, budgets and financial reports as well as liaison with partner agencies, statutory services and the local community.

Location: Settled care homes in Nottingham, Nottinghamshire
Department: Children’s Residential Care
Hours: Full-time – 37.5 hours per week average (includes evenings, nights, weekends, bank holidays, call outs). These are senior posts so additional hours are likely to be required to fulfil the requirements of the posts.
Salary: £36,000 – £40,000 per annum (plus attractive benefits package)
