Assistant Manager – Children’s Residential Care 

We are pleased to unveil an exciting job vacancy for a caring and inspiring Assistant Manager to join our Children’s Residential Care team in Nottingham.

 

The Role
Working within the Children’s Homes Regulations 2015, including the supervision of staff and young people, you will be working closely with the Registered Manager to ensure the day to day operation of our Residential care homes.

Your role will be vital in achieving and maintaining OFSTED ratings of good and outstanding, as well as ensuring the physical and emotional needs of the children and young people are met.

Assistant Manager (Children’s Residential Care)

Location: Settled Care homes around Nottinghamshire
Department: YMCA Children’s Residential Care
Responsible to: Registered Manager
Hours: 37.5 hours per week average including evenings, nights, weekends and bank holidays as required plus inclusion in the on call rota. Lone working may be required including night awake shifts.
Salary: £24,000 – £27,000 per annum – dependant on experience / qualifications plus payments for sleep in duties
