Deputy Manager – Children’s Residential Care

Exciting opportunities have become available within YMCA Children’s Residential Care for Deputy Managers in Newark and Selby.

A welcome payment of £250.00 is payable upon joining with a further £250.00 paid upon successful completion of probation period (subject to tax and NI deductions)

 

 

The Role
Working within the Children’s Homes Regulations 2015, including the supervision of staff and young people, you will be working closely with the Registered Manager to ensure the day to day operation of our Residential care homes.

Your role will be vital in achieving and maintaining OFSTED ratings of good and outstanding, as well as ensuring the physical and emotional needs of the children and young people are met.

Deputy Manager (Children’s Residential Care)

Location: Newark and Selby
Department: Children’s Residential Settled Care
Responsible to: Registered Manager
Hours: 37.5 hours per week average including evenings, nights, weekends and bank holidays as required plus inclusion in the on call rota. Lone working may be required including night awake shifts.
Salary: £27,000 per annum + £45 per sleep in.
