An exciting new job vacancy has arisen for an Administrative Assistant to join Nottinghamshire YMCA’s Support Office at the heart of Nottingham city centre.

The Role
An exciting new opportunity is available at Nottinghamshire YMCA, in our city centre Support Office. In this new role created to support our growing services, we are looking for an Administrative Assistant to work as a part of our Business Resource Centre team.

This role allows you to utilise your administration skills to really make a difference to the lives of hostel residents, as well as the children that attend our clubs and camps. A strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Access are essential, alongside excellent customer service skills.

Our organisation works hard to support our hostel residents, ensuring that they have the help needed to maintain tenancies whilst facing an array of complex needs. Your understanding of issues affecting homeless people, refugees, care leavers, ex offenders and those with drug and alcohol issues will be essential for this role.

You will be joining a busy, friendly team who are all supporting the development of an organisational culture that puts our Christian Core Values – Caring, Honesty, Respect and Responsibility – at the centre of all we do.

Hours: Full-time – 37.5 hours per week; to include bank holidays, evenings and weekends as required
Salary: £18,000 per annum
