Accounts Assistant

YMCA Robin Hood Group is searching for an Accounts Assistant to strengthen our Finance team to support our rapidly growing organisation.

The Role
Do you possess strong organisational skills coupled with an ability to work quickly to deadlines? Could you contribute to a team striving to improve processes through digital transformations and creating more efficient and sustainable ways of working? We would love to hear from you.

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to take a proactive approach to problem solving. You will utilise your accountancy experience, qualifications, and knowledge in order to assist in delivering monthly management accounts, and support with the gathering of evidence for and submission of grant funding projects.

Your responsibilities will include processing invoices and resolving queries from both internal and external customers, as well as reconciling purchase ledger accounts and collating financial data. A demonstrable ability to deliver customer service excellence both in a face-to-face capacity and over the telephone is a priority, as well as an ability to work as part of a team or independently. You will be comfortable learning new systems, and will possess excellent quantitative and modelling skills, coupled with an Accountancy qualification, and the flexibility to cover for other finance functions. You will also be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and Access.
