Health, Fitness and Wellbeing

Facility Hire

Facility Hire is available at all 5 of our sites, the most frequenly used being the International Community Centre. Nottingham's Sony Centre rents it's space from our Shakespeare Street site, which also offers a huge sports hall. All Saints provides wellness rooms for hire. The Aspley Centre also has space to offer and birthday parties may be on the horizon, whereas Mansfield provides the Training Centre... More...

Schools

Nottinghamshire YMCA also provides activities to young people of all abilities at numerous schools and venues across the city and county, encouraging good/appropriate behaviour and a positive attitude to health and leisure.

We are currently working with 44 schools across Nottinghamshire and deliver 224 Planning, Preparation & Assessment sessions per week. Due to the success of our PPA provision, we have employed a number of staff to teach the 8,900 children we work with in these schools... More... on PPA.

Furthermore we continue the Pastoral Care project in schools. Pastoral Care workers afford any child or young person discussion of any personal issues outside of the teachers and pupils who surround them.
