Departments: Support ServicesSupport Services encompasses a range of roles, which combined, form the well oiled cogs that keeps Nottinghamshire YMCA both evolving and maintained. Without Support Services, the rest of the YMCA would, quite simply, not be effective. And so begins our list of roles...
We support whatever the programmes teams offer our communities in terms of health & fitness, housing, infrastructure support, youth work, schools work and training. Support Services ensure their time and experience is spent wholly on service delivery, while we provide the expertise and backup in funding, finance, IT, promotion and design.
The HR Team deal with recruitment, internal training, Investors in People, policy development, employee engagement, CRB and ISA checks, welfare, disciplinaries, leave issues, grievances and other employee related issues. They will also be leading the Association’s work on the Insync standards.
The IT Department, based at All Saints, is responsible for the implementation of the Association's IT vision and strategy, as well as ensuring the appropriate level of IT support is maintained across all sites. Also backed up by an external IT Support company, both parties are available for guidance when considering IT related purchase or expansion.
